AFS skilled personnel forges strong relationships with its clients.  AFS is proud of its people and while the latest technology is important to a collection agency’s effectiveness, a collection agency ultimately cannot perform any better than the people they employ. AFS’s executive management team has been with the company since its inception.

Ann VanderbiltAnn Vanderbilt, MCE, President – Ann was instrumental in the formation of AFS and has overall responsibility for the company's operations. Before AFS, Ann was an executive for another collection agency and has over 30 years working in the collection industry. Ann has earned the American Collectors Association International’s designation of Master Credit Executive. Ann is a member of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management, American Collectors Association International, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Medical Group Management Association, Radiology Billing Management Association, American Healthcare Radiology Administrators, and Healthcare Billing & Management Association.

David FeldsteinDavid B. Feldstein, Esquire, Corporate Attorney and Compliance Officer – David has been with AFS since 1993. David has years of collection experience and helped develop and implement AFS’s compliance program, and is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all state licensures. David received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Baltimore and is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland. He is a member of the Member Attorneys Program of the American Collectors Association International. Before joining AFS, David was in private practice.

Liz MillerElizabeth “Liz” Miller, VP of Business Operations – Liz has been with AFS since its inception and is responsible for maintaining existing client relations, daily operations, and system administration. Liz worked for another collection agency in various capacities and managed their Client Services Department before coming to AFS. Liz has years of collection experience and is a member of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Medical Group Management Association.

Kristyn LipkaKristyn Lipka, Client Services Supervisor – Kristyn has been with the AFS team since 1997.  She started with the company as an Account Representative and was soon promoted to the Client Services Department in 1998.  As the Department Supervisor she works with new clients as the dedicated account manager.  Kristyn analyzes the client reports and meets with managers and supervisors to make suggestions to improve the net return.  She works with the account representatives so everyone understands each client’s unique requirements.  Her department is responsible for insurance billing, new placements, disputes and credit reporting.  Kristyn enjoys the wonderful relationships she has with all our clients.
